Program Management: Young Political Leadership School Africa (YPLSA)
As Program Manager of YPLS Africa at Naymote Partners for Democratic Development, Alphia and her team organize annual leadership, elections, and governance training for emerging African leaders. She leads over 1,000 beneficiaries through civic engagement, dialogue, fellowships, and advocacy initiatives.
Leadership Training and Facilitation Workshop
Alphia actively facilitates youth development training in partnership with development organizations in Liberia and internationally. She has led several trainings in Liberia on topics such as the role of youth in post-election periods, principles of democracy, networking and communication, and emotional intelligence for effective grassroots leadership among young people.
Empowering Change Through Volunteer and Self-Sponsored Efforts
Outside her 9-to-5, Alphia is committed to grassroots volunteerism. As a mentor with Girls Lead Liberia, she empowers young girls across the country. After being named USAID Liberia’s Development Youth of the Year in 2023, she self-funded a tour across three counties, reaching over 2,000 youth in underserved schools and communities
